AFAC is calling for nominations in four (4) award categories aligned to the AFAC Strategic Directions 2022-2026, these are:

  • Safer Communities Award
  • Workforce Capability and Wellbeing Award
  • Knowledge Innovation Award
  • Laurie Lavelle Achiever of the Year Award

Please find below the AFAC Industry Awards Guidelines 2026 document, which details each award.

The goal is to better reflect the incredible work that happens across the sector by broadening eligibility to a much wider cohort of members.

Winners for each award will be announced on Tuesday 18 August, during the AFAC26 powered by INTERSCHUTZ Welcome and Awards Ceremony in Melbourne.

We encourage all AFAC members, including affiliates, to consider individuals and service delivery teams who have demonstrated significant commitment to delivering outcomes aligned to the sector’s Strategic Directions for this year’s AFAC Industry Awards.
